Adwoa Boatemaa Okyere is a Ghanaian businesswoman and philanthropist. She is the founder of African Bagg Group, which controls several other companies. Ms. Okyere expressed her desire to become an entrepreneur at a young age. After the revolution her father, Gabriel Kwasi Okyere (Nana Adu Tutu II, Mampontenghene) then a major construction contractor lost his businesses. Based on that experience, she was determined to pursue her dreams. Her early experiences shaped her later business ventures. Adwoa has over 20years experience in consultancy and raising funds for international companies setting up in Africa. She worked with Siemens AG for 15years, Jacobsen Elektro AS, Norway (Energy, Power transmission and substation project) for 14years, 6 years with Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Bulgaria, 4 years with Mitsui Co. Ltd, Japan and Televic NV of Belgium all as Local Agent/Company Representative. In December 2011, Adwoa set up a charity, which aids to train the less fortunate to develop their vocational skills.
Kwabena Nketiah-Sarpong holds a B.A (Hon.) and a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast and an Advance Certificate in Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing U.K. Kwabena did his National Service with Ghana Library Board as an administrator. He later worked as a sales assistant at Mixen LTD and a marketing officer at XYglobe Associates.
Charles Kofi Okrah is a Certified Chartered International Banker (CCIB), UK and a Fellow of the Global Academy of Finance and Management (GAFM), UK. He retired from the Banking industry after working for over ten years at the Republic/ HFC Bank, Ecobank and the erstwhile TTB. He occupied various roles including Corporate Credit Analyst, Corporate Executive Assistant and Credit Analyst for SME and private/retail Banking. He holds an MBA in Finance from the Coventry University, UK and a first degree in Psychology with Philosophy from the University of Ghana.
Yasmin Boama holds a BSc in Business and Marketing from Oxford Brookes University, UK. Yasmin worked as a Sales and Marketing Administrator at Nestle Ltd – Nespresso, London. She also worked for the number one diamond brand company De Beers in London as a Digital Marketing Executive, which stood her in good stead in achieving an extensive international, Marketing and Human Resource experience. Her ten years’ experience also target driven recruitment, training, Tactical Marketing Planning, Budget / Sales Forecast using SAP and running intensive assessment programs for clients such as Tullow Oil, Mitsui & Co, GNPC, SSNIT, ECG, HFC Bank amongst others.
Yaw Okyere Boama holds an MSc in Property Finance from the University of Westminster, UK; a First degree in Global Business Management from Regent’s Business School, UK and a Diploma in Business Administration from Cromwell College of IT and Management, UK. Yaw worked as a Project Support Assistant at One Housing Group, London. He also worked as Property Analyst at Actis, London. Yaw also has working experience with West Point Derivatives as Admin, Solo Capital London as Compliance Assistant and Optique 20)20 London as Sales Assistant.
Kojo Boama holds a BA degree in Finance with Economics from Pace University, New York and a certificate in Business Finance from The City University of New York. Kojo has previous working experience with CBS (New York, NY) as Fixed Asset Management Assistant, Prestige Travel Agency (New York, NY) as Sales Associate, MetLife (New York, NY) as Strategic Planning Group
