We specialise in offering market entry support and Consultancy services to companies interested in investing in Ghana and the Sub region, by capitalising on our global network, local knowledge and experience to deliver the best to our clients.

African Bagg Ltd has successfully assisted several companies both local and international to set up substations and power plants as well as providing quality transformers (including pole mounted ones), and has facilitated gas commercialization, infrastructure, and solar/ renewable projects.

In addition to market entry support and business assistance services our subsidiary company African Bagg Recruitment provides a recruitment service within the Energy, Oil & Gas, Communication, Media, Banking and Real Estate industry. African Bagg Recruitment sources international and local based professionals to rewarding roles in Africa.


Our vision is to enter the global market and offer quality service to our clients whilst improving upon the standard of living of Ghanaians.

Meet Our Team

Adwoa Boatemaa Okyere, CEO/MD

Adwoa Boatemaa Okyere is a Ghanaian businesswoman and philanthropist. She is founder of African Bagg Group, which controls several other companies.   Ms Okyere expressed her desire to become an entrepreneur at a young age. After the revolution her father, Gabriel Kwasi Okyere (Nana Adu Tutu II, Mampontenghene) then a major construction contractor lost his businesses. Based on that experience, she was determined to pursue her dreams. Her early experiences shaped her later business ventures.   Adwoa has over 20years experience in consultancy and raising funds for international companies setting up in Africa. She worked with Siemens AG for 15years, Jacobsen Elektro AS, Norway (Energy, Power transmission and substation project) for 14years, 6 years with Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Bulgaria, 4 years with Mitsui Co. Ltd, Japan and Televic NV of Belgium all as Local Agent/Company Representative.   In December 2011, Adwoa set up a charity, which aids to train the less fortunate to develop their vocational skills.

Kwabena Nketiah-Sarpong, General Manager

Kwabena Nketiah-Sarpong holds a B.A (Hon.) and a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast and an Advance Certificate in Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing U.K. Kwabena did his National Service with Ghana Library Board as an administrator. He later worked as a sales assistant at Mixen LTD and a marketing officer at XYglobe Associates.

Yasmin Boama-Director, Human Resources

Yasmin Boama holds a BSc in Business and Marketing from Oxford Brookes University, UK. Yasmin worked as a Sales and Marketing Administrator at Nestle Ltd – Nespresso, London. She also worked for the number one diamond brand company De Beers in London as a Digital Marketing Executive, which stood her in good stead in achieving an extensive international, Marketing and Human Resource experience. Now based in Ghana, her ten years’ experience also includes target driven recruitment, training, Tactical Marketing Planning, Budget / Sales Forecast using SAP and running intensive assessment programs for our clients such as Tullow Oil, Mitsui & Co, Ghana National Petrolum Corporation, Social Secruity National Insuarance Trust, Electrical Company of Ghana, HFC Bank amongst others.

Nana Bonsu Okyere, Director Sales/Marketing

Nana Bonsu Okyere has a BSc Degree in Banking and Finance from Central University College, Accra. He has more than 5 years of professional work experience in Telecommunications Valued Added Services (VAS). Before leaving Millicom Ghana Limited (TIGO), Nana held various positions in Managing the Ring Back Tone portfolio as Acting Manager, Quality Control Management, Contract Management and Telecommunications Valued Added Services (VAS) Reconciliations Specialist within the Telecommunications Industry. Currently, he is responsible for the Sales and Marketing and promoting of Benning France Power products in the West African Sub region, Afix Group of Belgium. Nana is also the Local Project director for Televic Education of Belgium’s Project with the Ministry of Education responsible for the installation of 242 E-Learning/ICT Labs in Ghana. His core responsibility is to market and promote the interest of the companies African Bagg Limited represents in the Ghana, the sub-region and beyond.

Adwoa Nkum, Accounts Officer

Adwoa Nkum attended Cape Coast Polytechnic for the High National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy. She is also aspiring to come out this year as a chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountancy Ghana (ICAG) this year. Adwoa Nkum is a Ghanaian and started working as a Cashier (National Service) at Tema Municipal Assembly (TMA), finance department. Based on her hard work and outstanding performance she had the opportunity to work with Jespako Ghana Ltd., one of the leading construction companies in Ghana as an Account Officer. Per her hard work, initiative and advice to the management then came the establishment of a SIM microfinance a subsidiary to the mother company which was set to assist SME’s in the country. She was also the Acting Account Manager in charge of supervision of their branch in Accra New Town. Adwoa Nkum joined African Bagg Recruitment as Account and Payroll Consultant in charge of running of payroll for prospected clients including Alcatel Lucent, now Nokia, I.E Singapore, Novative Ltd, as well as African Bagg Group.

Joel Duah, Recruiting Consultant

Joel Duah is an alumni of the Institute of Professional studies (Now University of Professional Studies Accra) where he pursued Diploma in Business Management. Based on his performance he was admitted back into the University to pursue his degree. He has over 6years working experience in the field of Human Resource and General Administration, specialized in recruitment, policy implementation and employee/employer dispute resolution. He has work at the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) as an Intern 2009 -2010, Kart Enterprise as Stores Manager and Ghana Oil Palm Development Company, Ghana. He was the Personal assistant to the Senior Human Resource Office and also in charge of the company’s estate housing. Joel Duah works at African Bagg Recruitment as Recruitment Consultant. He is in charge of recruitment of professionals for both local and international companies in Ghana. Some of the companies he has worked for include; Tullow Ghana, International Enterprise Singapore, HFC Bank Ghana, Persistent Energy Ghana, Bullion Financial Services ltd.,GMEA Group, Viasat 1, The One Event, Kimo Homes Ltd, Coral Paints etc.

Akua Neene Anim, Administrator/Recruiting Assistant

Akua Neene Anim is an alumni of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) where she pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management and a Certificate in Research from the Westminster foundation for Democracy, UK. Akua is currently pursuing a Professional Certificate Programme at the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana (IHRMP). Akua did her National Service with Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited as an Administrator and a Customer Service Consultant. She later worked as an Administrator and Research Assistant with the Parliament of Ghana. With the experience she got as an Administrator with Stanbic Bank and the Parliament of Ghana, as well as the Human Resource Management knowledge acquired from her studies at GIMPA, Akua Neene Anim serves as the Administrator and Recruiting Assistant for the African Bagg Group.
